I was born in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain) but very quickly moved to Cádiz (Andalusia, Spain) on the South East where my family was based and where I spent my whole childhood. For that reason I consider Cádiz to be my hometown. I attended a Salesian catholic school until I reached the age to go to university. Then I started to study Physics at the University of Seville.
After receiving an offer to finish my degree at Edinburgh Napier University in Edinburgh (Scotland, UK) I accepted the challenge and after two years I finished a BSc (1st class Honor) in Applied Physics with Computing. Shortly after I gained a MSc in Electronics Engineering at the University of Glasgow (Scotland, UK).
Since December 2004 I have been working as a trainee researcher (Doctorate student) at the Electronics Department at the University of Kent (England, UK). For the last two years I have also been teaching Quantitative Methods and Statistics for Business at Concorde International School (Canterbury, UK).
Thanks and good luck,
Guillermo
